Hello! My name is Melissa and I've been with Creative Kids for just over four years now and hope for many more. I am an assistant preschool and afterschool teacher at John Marshall. I hold an Associates degree in early childhood education from Edmonds Community College. During high school I volunteered in a head start preschool program and tutored school age children during the summers. Ironically enough during my senior year I worked at a retirement home but the older folks didn't crack me up nearly as much as kids did so I went back to working with them and never looked back. I'm so blessed to work in such a rewarding field with amazing teachers who share the same passion of teaching as I do. 

I was born and raised in Las Vegas and have the most beautiful childhood memories. I moved to Seattle when I was about 9 and as fun as Vegas was I love it here more! A few of my favorite things include hosting family and friends for get-togethers, live music, travel, Marvel anything and movies!
